Instead of always making only a few things like gravy and biryani with mutton, you can make mutton kola balls for kids in a new way. Mutton is rich in protein. It also contains vitamins and minerals. This Mutton Kola Ball is loved by everyone from kids to adults.
Materials Required:
Mutton – 300 gms (boneless mutton)
Onions – no
Chickpeas – two table spoons
Anise – one tablespoon
Turmeric powder – quarter teaspoon
Chilli powder – one teaspoon
Garam masala powder – one teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste – one teaspoon
Coriander – a handful
Fenugreek – A little
Oil – required quantity
Salt – as needed
Recipe:
In a pan, pour required amount of oil and add aniseed, finely chopped onion and curry leaves and saute well.
Once the onions are slightly sauteed, add the mutton curry. Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, chilli powder and black pepper powder and saute well.
After that, sprinkle salt and coriander leaves and boil the curry for ten to twenty minutes without adding any water. If water comes from the mutton, strain the water and take only the mutton.
Then when the mutton cools down, grind it and take it. Add finely chopped onion to the ground mutton.
Along with that, add ground chickpeas. Also, add required amount of salt and knead well.
If desired, you can add a little more coriander. Keep the ground mutton in small balls.
Pour enough oil to fry the balls in a pan, when it heats up, add the balls and fry them, then the mutton kola balls are ready.
