Useful tips for summer care

Basic skin care tips:

Summer skin care is very important to maintain skin health, glow and avoid direct sun exposure. Any skin care product you use should be chosen based solely on your skin type. Take everything as recommended by your dermatologist.

In summer, you should wash your face 2-3 times. If you want to wash your face during the day, you can wash your face with normal water. Use cold water instead of hot water to wash your face. Do not use hot water when washing your face, as hot water can strip the skin of its natural oils and make it dry and dull. Because of this, our skin starts to shrink and sag quickly.

Even we can look old in the early stages. If you have oily skin, you may prefer a foaming cleanser. People with dry skin may prefer a foaming cleanser or a gentle cleanser. Using gel-based cleansers works better than cream-based cleansers. In winter, you can use a cleansing cream based on it.

Sunscreen:

You should apply sunscreen on your skin 15 minutes before going outside. Sunscreen protects us from deep pigmentation, deep aging and skin cancer caused by the sun’s UV rays. Apply sunscreen only after washing your face and applying moisturizer.

Use a light, non-greasy moisturizer to keep skin hydrated without feeling greasy. People with dry skin can use light moisturizers in summer. Choose skin care products with natural ingredients like aloe vera, cucumber and green tea to soothe and cool your skin. Before trying any natural remedy, do a quick patch test to make sure it won’t cause allergies.

Exfoliation:

Exfoliation can be done once every 10 days or once a week. Use a gentle exfoliator to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores. People with sensitive skin should consult a doctor and follow the correct exfoliation method. After that, you should use moisturizer and sunscreen.
